If you want to work in the theater, we can provide you with the technical skills you'll need for the job of your dreams: Scenic Carpenter/Welder, Scene Shop Foreman, Technical Director, Theatrical Electrician, Light Board Operator, Master Electrician, Sound Board Operator, Sound Technician, Follow-spot Operator, Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Props Master/Mistress, Wardrobe Assistant, First Hand, Stitcher, Cutter/Draper, Craftsperson, Rigger, Draftsman, CAD Operator, Stage Hand.
Entry-level salary range:
Certificate option – $8.00 - $17.50/hour (local union entry level scale)
(Will vary widely, depending upon whether the employment is professional, academic or community based.)
Associate degree – Will vary, based on location and venue of employment

Sample course requirements:
Stagecraft, Theatre Graphics, Introduction to Rigging and Fly Systems, Costume Techniques, Fundamentals of Stage Lighting, Stage Management
What it takes:
22 - 29 credit hours – Specialized certificates of achievement available in costume, entertainment construction, lighting, rigging, sound, and stage management.
63 credit hours – Associate degree
