Program Description:Serving the educational and training needs of persons seeking an Associate of Applied Science in the field of Veterinary Technology. Meeting the local, regional, and state manpower needs for Certified Veterinary Technicians in private practice, industry, research, and government service.
Entry Level Salary:
$7 to $9 per hour
Local Employment Outlook:
Considerable employment possibilities exist in the greater Tulsa area for CVT's (Certified Veterinary Technicians). The program is contacted frequently by local veterinary practices seeking student and graduate employees. Two nationally-owned veterinary hospital companies encourage their non-certified employees to apply and matriculate the program.
