Program Description:This multi-option program is designed to insure the student’s development of practical and useful skills necessary to function in a job entry position, so that the student can become productive with a minimum of on-the-job training.
Entry Level Salary:
$10 –$12 per hour
Local Employment Outlook:
There is a critical shortage of people trained in this area. Employment of graduates is expected to increase faster than the average for all occupations for the next several years in response to an increasing demand for gardening and landscaping services. Despite this growth, most job openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to other occupations, retire, or leave the labor force.
